1. All entrants must purchase a competition ticket available from Eventbrite and complete the entry form.
     
  2. The competition is open to amateur bakers only. No professional bakers please.
     
  3. By entering the competition you certify that the cake is entirely your own work or if entering a child’s cake, that it is their own work
     
  4. Cakes must be displayed on a disposable plate or board and be brought to St Mary the Virgin Church, Mortlake High Street SW14 8JA between 10am until 1pm at the latest on 12th May. We regret that entries received after the cut-off point cannot be judged. NB. If you need to assemble a ‘Showstopper’ on site, please allow sufficient time for this.
     
  5. If entering small cakes, brownies etc. please enter 12 of similar size and appearance.
     
  6. A full ingredients list must accompany each cake, to ensure that those buying the cakes are fully aware of any potential allergens. No entry can be accepted without this list.
     
  7. All cakes will be numbered, and so judged anonymously.
     
  8. Entries will be judged on taste, texture, presentation and creativity and the decisions of the judges will be final.
     
  9. All entries will become the property of the Great Mortlake Bake Off and will be sold after the competition at a price to be set by the organisers. Profits from the day will be divided between local charities Mortlake Community Association and Missing People.
     
  10. By entering the competition you are giving your consent for your cake(s) to be photographed and used for future promotional material.
